How I work
Most family law cases are decided by two things: the facts, and how well each side communicates. I have practiced San Diego family law since 2008, in courtrooms and in settlement conferences, and the pattern is consistent. Cases that resolve well are the ones where someone keeps the focus on the actual goals rather than on the fight.
That is what I do. I take on a limited number of cases so I can personally handle each one from start to finish. I tell clients what I think, including when the answer is not what they hoped. And I push toward a resolution that holds up, whether that comes through negotiation, mediation, or, when necessary, trial.
